Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and creative marketing intern to join our team in Longview, TX. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, video production, and industry research in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As an intern, you will collaborate with various departments, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop valuable skills to prepare for a successful career in marketing. This position will work closely with the Marketing Team based in Doswell VA for the summer. 

Key Responsibilities

· Content Collection (Video & Photography)

· Capture high-quality videos of plastic film packaging production (extrusion, printing, laminating, sealing).

· Film time-lapse videos showcasing machine operations.

· Record behind-the-scenes footage of plant operations and employees.

· Capture “Get to Know the Team” interviews with plant workers and sales team members.

· Take professional-quality photos of:

· Plastic film products (barrier films, FFS films, shrink bundling films, stretch hood).

· Finished rolls, packaging applications, and raw materials.

· Employees working on production lines (ensuring appropriate content for public use).

· Product close-ups highlighting clarity, durability, and barrier properties.

· Interview & Storytelling

· Conduct interviews with machine operators, engineers, and production managers to gather insights.

· Capture quotes about quality control, efficiency, and product benefits.

· Record short explainers from the sales or production team on product applications.

Video Editing Support

· Assist with video editing for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

· Organize raw footage into content folders for marketing use.

· Brainstorm engaging captions, hashtags, and post ideas.

· Information Gathering & Industry Research

· Research plastic film specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.

· Confirm technical benefits (e.g., UV resistance, puncture strength, oxygen/moisture barriers).

· Clarify film differences (e.g., barrier films vs. standard FFS films).

· Gather customer FAQs, testimonials, and case studies.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and sustainability advancements.

Qualifications

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Creative mindset with an eye for detail and storytelling.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Canva)
