Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8+ years applied or related experience or master’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years applied or related experience. Will consider 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) and a variety of contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed Price, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS365, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 5 professionals and 1 manager, with a focus on training, professional development and team engagement.
  • Provide trusted and valued advice and guidance on contractual matters and business aspects in support of operating unit goals.
  • Review and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Plan and execute successful contract negotiations and achieving targeted profit rates as well as favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals.
  • Make decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a variety of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, supply chain, legal, export, and security. Demonstrate broad spectrum of skills - from attention to detail, to assessing macro-level impacts.
  • Collaborating with the BU to provide concise guidance related to Approval of Commitments for Company Products and Services and other procedures.
