Web Redesign Project Management Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Be responsible for the entire web redesign project lifecycle in collaboration with an external web design agency. This includes project planning, timeline management, prioritization, and quality control.

Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison between our internal corporate clients and the web design agency. Conduct interviews and meetings with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and vision for the new website.

Requirements Gathering: Translate client requirements and feedback into actionable project tasks. Work closely with the design agency to ensure client expectations are met.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the final website design aligns with the project scope, meets client expectations, and adheres to industry standards and efficient practices.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all project collaborators, including clients, the design agency, and internal team members. Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns.

Documentation: Keep project documentation organized, including project plans, meeting notes, and client feedback records.

Problem Solving: Identify and address project-related challenges and obstacles in a proactively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment: Currently enrolled as a rising junior in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Business, Marketing, Web Design or other relevant major.
• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and agency partners.
• Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles or a strong willingness to learn.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with web design concepts, content management systems (CMS)—knowledge of WordPress a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
