Salary Range: 60 to 87 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

Launch Project Manager (Contract) – Eastlake, Ohio

DISHER is currently seeking a Launch Project Manager for our customer, experts in complex close tolerance machined components, in Eastlake, Ohio. This CONTRACT role will have you managing new product development and taking it through production. It is anticipated that the project will last 3-4 month. On-site work will be required.

Founded in 1953, our customer specializes in close tolerance CNC machining of all types of Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys, Titanium, Aluminum, Steel and Brass in complex configurations. While our customer qualifies as a "Small Business", they are large enough to successfully complete challenging, complex projects in the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Industrial, and Medical markets providing engineering assistance, full assembly and complete program management.

They operate from a large climate-controlled facility located in Eastlake OH near Cleveland. This location is purposeful as it has an extensive, local supply base of certified process providers including NADCAP qualified sources. This enables them to efficiently provide their customers with turnkey service from raw material to completely finished parts with full traceability.

What you will get to do:

Launch Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations
Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and other teams to ensure all launch activities are coordinated and executed smoothly
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to product launches and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all launch-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the launch process
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed launch documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-launch analyses
Quality Assurance: Oversee final quality checks and ensure that all launch activities meet established standards and requirements
Post-Launch Analysis: Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess the success of product launches, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement

What will make you successful:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering field or experience in new product launch, support of fixturing and tooling, and CNC setup
Ability to work on-site in Eastlake, OH for the project’s duration
Experience with managing project from launch to prototype to production
Experience with CNC setup highly desired
Strong project management skills, with proficiency in common project management tools
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
