Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years of customer service & administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, multi-tasking ability, and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the team’s customers and carriers.
  • Communicate daily with carriers, customers, and Spot employees to ensure on-time pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Evaluate inbound and outbound orders to determine efficient transportation plans.
  • Create and distribute freight documents (BOLs, labels, etc.).
  • Ensure trucks are loaded with the correct freight.
  • Enter load information; track/trace shipments in the customers' software system.
  • Schedule appointments with receivers and coordinate deliveries.
  • Serve as a point person during the integration of Spot’s new technology systems.
  • Field general customer questions; issue resolution.
