Requirements
- Successful completion of BIOL 230W, Molecules and Cells, is typically required.
- Competency in bioinformatics skills, including genome-wide association study analysis and working knowledge of Python and/or R.
- Attention to detail and detailed recordkeeping are valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform general laboratory maintenance.
- Prepare materials for experiments.
- Maintain mammalian cell cultures.
- Implement routine biochemistry and molecular biology experiments, including Western blotting, molecular cloning, and quantitative polymerase chain reaction.
- Analyze data.
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of BIOL 322, Genetic Analysis, or other related 400-level classes is preferred.
