Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing Information Systems Operations, including Operational Technology (OT) systems
  • Proven expertise in assessing and documenting operating models, organizational structure, governance, and service delivery in IS environments
  • Strong experience conducting stakeholder interviews and process walkthroughs to capture operational realities
  • Ability to create clear baseline views of roles, responsibilities, processes, and technologies
  • Demonstrated skills in benchmarking IS Operations against industry best practices and identifying gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Experience developing and implementing operating models, including RACIs, organizational charts, and sourcing strategies
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and change management skills to lead transformation initiatives
Responsibilities
  • Understanding and describing the current state of IS Operations, including organizational structure, governance, service delivery, and alignment with enterprise strategy
  • Conducting targeted stakeholder interviews, documentation reviews, and process walkthroughs to capture how IS Operations works in practice, not just on paper
  • Creating a clear baseline view of roles, responsibilities, processes, and technologies that define the current model
  • Articulating how IS Operations delivers value in terms of speed, cost, quality, and innovation, including how these outcomes are measured
  • Benchmarking our client’s IS Operations model against industry peers to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Detailing potential improvements, adjustments, or alternative operating model constructs with associated risks and benefits
  • Supporting the implementation of the new model by preparing RACIs, organizational charts, external sourcing strategies, and other embedding activities
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with OT systems in industrial or utility sectors
  • Project management certification such as PMP
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks

Sia acquires Kaiser Associates to launch global corporate strategy and M&A business line

Sia, a global management consulting group, has acquired Kaiser Associates, a US-based strategy consulting firm, to launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A business line spanning the US, UK, France, Middle East and Australia. Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates brings 65 consultants and operates from Washington, D.C., New York and London. The firm specialises in go-to-market strategy, growth assessments and market landscaping for Fortune 500 executives and private equity funds. Kaiser Associates' leadership team, including Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma and Jon Meyerholz, will join Sia as partners, with Meyerholz heading the new business line as managing partner. The acquisition expands Sia's North American presence and strengthens its position in private equity advisory.
