Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP of Services, you will be accountable for managing one or more of our professional services teams. We need a well-rounded person who not only has a deep technical background in offensive and defensive cybersecurity activities, but who also has executive presence, a deep dedication to their team’s career development, a fanatical obsession with customer success, and a relentless restlessness to strategically position and improve the security practice’s core service offerings.

Core tasks:
- Drive performance and manage by objectives and key results
- Manage a team of 3 - 6 first-line managers
- Maniacal focus on client satisfaction during service delivery
- Oversee team’s resource utilization, revenue, and gross margin
- Enhance, improve, and streamline technical service line offerings
- Responsible for "voice of the customer" in managing existing client relationships and developing new service lines
- Work with Technical Directors and Executive Leadership Team to provide technical leadership relative to market trends and customer objectives
- Mentor, develop, and retain direct reports
- Assist sales win new customer logos
- Assist sales in managing existing client relationships
Accountable for:
- High-quality delivery and timely scheduling of Product Security service line offerings
- Providing technical expertise assisting the Sales team with Pre-Sales activities
- Leading Quarterly Business Reviews for Key Accounts
- Ownership of Customer and Technical escalations
- Quarterly customer net promoter score objectives and key results
- Quarterly revenue, team utilization and gross margin objectives and key results
- Quarterly practice improvement objectives and key results
- Quarterly team career development objectives and key results
- Team retention and performance
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Prior cybersecurity consulting experience
- Prior penetration testing experience
- Prior experience in offensive security relative to web/mobile applications, IoT and cloud
- Prior fluency in an outward and customer-facing role
- Prior fluency in people and project management
- Prior fluency managing a technical team
- Bachelors in business, computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics
Desired qualifications:
- Advanced degree or MBA in related field
- Advanced security qualifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CRTO, Attify and similar
- Prior experience communicating with C-suite executives and Board of Directors
- Prior experience in offensive security, advanced attack and penetration testing, and red team
- Familiarity with common development practices such as waterfall, agile, and scrum
- Familiarity with security design patterns, cloud blueprints, and common architectures
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE CAPEC, PASTA frameworks
- Familiarity with various detection response solutions
- Familiarity with NIST CSF and other risk frameworks and governance models
