Leads marketing activities or components of channel marketing activities to drive completion of day-to-day channel marketing goals.
As part of the European Investment Marketing team you will be responsible for ensuring more investors find success with Vanguard’s world-class investment management capabilities and products. Your role will be to ensure products and capabilities are clearly described, well positioned and adequately supported throughout the sales funnel, and across market cycles and distribution channels. In this function, you will be a key driver in supporting the investment marketing team of implementing marketing initiatives to deliver against the overarching European B2B strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry, preferably in a marketing environment, project management skills and is able to navigate within a matrix organization and be able to independently execute marketing initiatives with relevant stakeholders. You will have experience promoting products in both the face-to-face and digital environment.

In this role, you will:
- Work hand in hand with the Investment Marketing Manager Multi-Asset to drive the strategic work and further build out the success story of Model Portfolio Solutions (MPS)
- Assist in developing a scalable ecosystem for MPS
- Support the Investment Marketing Manager Multi-Asset, the business and product management in building out a narrative and marketing initiatives for custom MPS
- Work in an interdisciplinary approach to deliver against business and marketing objectives.
- Develop and roll-out marketing initiatives around our multi-asset key category in alignment with the MA/MPS strategy
- Support and assist in running investment marketing programs, initiatives, promotions, or research projects to improve the positioning and uptake of your designated products.
- Self-independently work with editorial, digital and production teams to create new marketing documents, insights, sales materials, communications and digital journeys to ensure products are supported throughout the sales funnel in both face-to-face and online channels.
- Support the Investment Marketing Manager with the launch of new products with clear positioning and key take-to-market collateral, announcements, and training materials.
- Ensure that product materials and insights are correctly displayed and available on the in house content management system.
- Manage legal, compliance and subject matter expert signoffs to ensure materials are compliant and appropriate.
- Coordinate translations and support the whole investment marketing team in administrative marketing tasks
What it takes
- Minimum 5 years related work experience in asset management or financial services.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have experience in project management, and communication with strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with financial products required
- Very strong interpersonal communication skills
- Feeling comfortable in navigating within a matrix organization and exposure to senior management
- Experience with financial advisor and wholesale investment professionals an advantage.
- Experience in product related marketing initiatives and event management is an advantage.
- Experience in NWoW and agile working tools and methods a plus.
- German or Italian language an advantage but not mandatory.
