Post Production Manager @ DAZN

DAZN is looking for a Post Production Manager to join their Global team to continue to bring sports fans around the world some of the best action from the greatest sporting events across the globe.

We are looking for a Post Production Manager to come and join us to work on our Non Live Content output. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of all our non-live content to the DAZN Platform and third-party takers. This role will report directly into the Head of Resources and will involve close work with the Head of Boxing, Head of Football, Global Creative Lead and our production services teams. We are looking for an experienced Post Production manager who will oversee a busy post production department and is confident in managing multiple clients and internal stakeholders requirements at the same time.

This role will ensure that every piece of non-live content across the department is produced within budget and meets all associated business requirements. The right candidate will have experience in working on a range of different broadcast content, from event highlights to high end branded content and documentary programming and will be confident in managing both staff and freelancers schedules. With sports events taking place worldwide we are looking for a candidate that has experience of managing multiple rota and scheduling systems and who understands the post production workflow and associated timelines.

As our new Post Production Manager you’ll have the opportunity to:

Implement DAZN business systems and best practices.
Work with the Programming Teams to generate a schedule of content delivery.
Manage and support all event schedules, workflows and disciplines.
Ensure successful and timely delivery of all content to the DAZN Platform.
Work with third party providers to commission and deliver Documentary, advertising and promotional content.
Work with the Live PM team to ensure that post content is created on time and within budget.
Build and maintain a schedule for all staff and freelance editors, AP’s and Producers.
Document and troubleshoot projects and spot problems ahead of time.
Work with the technical team to create efficiencies in production of content.

You’ll have:

A passion for sport, with huge drive, determination, and work ethic.
Experience in editing and using Premiere Pro and Avid software.
Excellent knowledge of the post production workflow and associated delivery formats.
Ability to foster relationships with clients and colleagues of all levels, identifying the right level of support at all stages.
Experience in managing and organising production schedules and delivery timeframes.
Ability to work under pressure, whilst offering guidance and advice to both colleagues and clients to help them meet delivery.
Experience in reporting on equipment usage and tracking output performance.
