The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Our HR team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our HR professionals are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. This role can be based in Denver, CO or Ashburn, VA; in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible)
As the Development Program and Early Careers Coordinator for Vantage’s North American region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing a growing portfolio of early careers initiatives and providing coordination and participant management support for region-wide development initiatives. Reporting to the Director for Learning and Development in North America, you play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of development initiatives within the region, and will have a significant role in developing and overseeing early careers initiatives which focus on growing our own talent from within.
You will be responsible for overseeing our highly competitive Vantage Internship program, ensuring a seamless and transformative experience for our aspiring young professionals. With your firsthand understanding of the intern experience and your passion for talent development, you will serve as a dedicated mentor and advocate for our interns, guiding them through their journey and helping them unlock their full potential.
As we continue to expand our early careers offerings, you will also support the development and administration of new programs, paving the way for recent graduates and early-career individuals to join our organization and embark on fulfilling careers. Your contributions will be instrumental in cultivating a robust pipeline of diverse, highly skilled talent to fuel Vantage’s future growth and success.
Internship Program Management:
Manage the end-to-end coordination of the Vantage Internship program, from recruitment andselection to onboarding, development, and offboarding.
Serve as the primary point of contact for intern candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Support the design and delivery of engaging onboarding and training programs to ensure interns are well-equipped to excel in their roles.
Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to identify and secure meaningful intern placements that align with the interns’ interests and career goals.
Provide ongoing support to interns, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to thrive during their time at Vantage.
Serve as a dedicated mentor and coach to interns, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
Coordinate and execute engaging learning and development activities, including training sessions, networking events, and leadership shadowing opportunities for interns.
Collect and analyze data on the intern experience, program effectiveness, and retention rates, using insights to continuously improve the program.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with the regional learning partners to ensure the successful implementation and coordination of development programs and initiatives within North America.
Partnering with the Senior Manager for Onboarding Excellence, Global, deliver and manage local activities required for the successful onboarding of new starters across the NA region.
Liaise with targeted educational institutions, building strong relationship to attract key intern and early career talent onto our programs.
Early Careers Program Development:
Support the development and implementation of new early career programs, such as graduate training schemes and apprenticeships, to diversify Vantage’s talent pipeline.
Collaborate with the Regional Director of Learning and Development and the broader HR team to align early careers initiatives with Vantage’s overall talent management strategy.
Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging early careers initiatives to enhance the Vantage Internship program and explore new opportunities.
Coordination & Administration:
Manage administrative tasks related to the internship program, such as maintaining intern records, coordinating with Payroll and Talent Acquisition, and coordinatinglogistics.
Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a learning and development professional, with a proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs.
Experience in an early careers, internship, or talent development role, preferably within a fast-paced, global organization.
Firsthand experience as an intern or recent graduate, with a deep understanding of the challenges and aspirations of early-career individuals.
Data Center or high-tech experience is preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with and inspire interns and young professionals.
Strong project management and administrative skills, with the ability to coordinate complex programs and maintain meticulous records.
Passionate about talent development, with a genuine interest in helping young professionals achieve their career goals.
Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
