We are seeking an individual who will be part of SunPower’s successful Structured Finance team which executes financing strategies for the deployment of solar loans and lease/PPAs for the acquisition of SunPower solar energy systems, or its output, by our Customers. 

The individual in this position will gain an understanding of all aspects of the renewable energy Structured Finance market, including tax incentivized finance structures, warehouse lending facilities, term debt and public securitizations.  The individual will create, structure, and manage financial models for portfolios of residential solar systems, as well as help negotiate and execute transaction documents. The person will provide support to the other members of the residential business team such as SunPower sales/ product development/ operations to develop and explain financing strategies best suited to the objectives and limitations of the situation. 

The ideal candidate will understand tax equity and/or how a lending business works.  Additionally, an ideal candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and a keen desire to work with the leading finance providers in this industry to broaden access to solar to a greater share of the U.S. market. Experience in the energy industry is a plus but is not required.

Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,696/year to $125,452.8/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
