Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience or ability to perform audits using established standards and systems and communicate results and deficiencies in a way that impacts outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn a variety of computer operating systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical journals.
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals and present information effectively to customers or employees.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to analyze data from different sources, infer and summarize results, solve problems with limited standardization, and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
  • Ability to use a telephone and computer, type, sit for several hours, stand and walk for periods of time, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to travel one to two weeks per quarter to other company offices.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support day-to-day activities in an accredited outpatient surgical facility, including center operations and team member culture.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and AAAHC guidelines.
  • Engage patients throughout their journey and ensure timely resolution of service issues, escalating to the Patient Experience Team when necessary.
  • Own and execute new initiatives, policies, products, and procedural changes with the Practice Manager.
  • Build and champion team member action and development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Deliver the center business scorecard and understand performance metrics and drivers.
  • Ensure timely submission, accurate tracking, auditing, and reporting for center operations, including surgical note compliance, invoicing, bank deposits, payroll, logs, and patient chart incident reports.
  • Maintain the security of in-house medications according to policy.
  • Ensure the office’s physical facilities are maintained in excellent condition.
  • Coordinate with the National Support Facilities Team and Property Management to ensure facility standards are met.
  • Ensure accurate clinician and front desk scheduling using required technology platforms and tools.
  • Provide backup coverage for front desk and clinical team members within applicable clinical licensing limitations.
  • Manage overtime hours and staffing levels needed to maintain the mandated standard of care.
  • Communicate with the governing body, executive management, surgeons, supporting functions, and center employees through discussions, meetings, and visual demonstrations.
  • Resolve employee relations, customer service, ordering, materials requisition, financial, and patient complaint issues in real time.
  • Facilitate high-quality communication among patients, surgeons, employees, and National Support staff.
  • Share responsibility for confidentiality, security, physical safety, and timely retrieval of patient and clinical records.
  • Supervise the collection, processing, maintenance, storage, access, and use of clinical records.
  • Ensure patients, team members, and surgeons are treated according to the organization’s rights and responsibilities and service standards.
  • Provide an organized recruiting experience for candidates in partnership with the National Support Talent Team.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, the corporate risk manager, and the credentialing manager to complete new-hire paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Align initial training plans with the Team Member Experience lead before new team members start.
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance reviews, development plans, and progressive discipline in partnership with Human Resources.
