We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced life insurance professional to make an immediate and long-lasting impact, while building a network of 30-40 Independent firms over a three-year period. In addition to building a portfolio of new firms, the Vice President of Sales will ensure that Lion Street’s resources are appropriately tailored, and revenue growth plans are established for each firm within his or her portfolio. Our business model is proven, and our value proposition resonates with successful life insurance firms.
We have 7 highly successful Sales Vice Presidents who have built their “business within a business” and we want to add another entrepreneurial minded SVP this year. We do not have strict geographic boundaries in mind and are flexible on the SVP’s home base.
Job Description and Duties in this position, include responsibility for the recruitment and revenue growth of Independent Life Insurance & Wealth Advisory firms.
The desired Skills and Experience that Qualified candidates must meet minimum job qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have at least five or more years of experience in the life insurance industry.
- A successful history of Business Development and relationships with Industry leading life & wealth advisory firms.
- A strong Team Player that corresponds with firms to share ideas and participate in team recruiting & sales campaigns as assigned by management to help drive company results.
- The ability to work with Lion Street carriers and alliances to leverage existing product experts and resources for the benefit of the firms.
- Strong communication and customer service skills is necessary to succeed in this role. Willing to take initiative, exhibit creative thinking and take ownership of opportunities. Self-starter attitude and strong desire to provide excellent results. Ability to excel in a dynamic, fastmoving company environment.
The position comes with a base salary commensurate with experience and potential, an incentive compensation plan, and very importantly equity eligibility in a fast growing, leading distributor of insurance and wealth management in the high-net-worth and corporate markets.
