  • A minimum of four years of experience in software quality assurance, quality control, or testing, including hands-on experience with Salesforce, customer relationship management systems, application programming interfaces, or enterprise system integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing end-to-end integration, application programming interface, functional, regression, and negative-path tests.
  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform concepts, including API-led connectivity, orchestration, transformations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience validating API contracts and documentation using OpenAPI, Swagger, Scalar, Postman, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies for Salesforce, APIs, and integration workflows.
  • Understanding of system architecture, data modeling, scalable integration patterns, data migration, and data-quality principles.
  • Experience with source control, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, defect-management tools, code or technical review practices, and automated quality gates.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams and delivering quality activities within iterative release cycles.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, or the ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and apply such technologies at scale.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to trace issues across multiple systems and applications, integration, data, environment, and configuration causes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, test environments, dependencies, and release timelines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise risk-based findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineers while maintaining independent quality judgment.
  • Proven time-management skills and experience supporting others in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, maintain, and execute risk-based test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and scripts for Salesforce, MuleSoft, APIs, and connected enterprise systems.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, negative-path, and post-deployment testing for new features, customizations, interfaces, and defect corrections.
  • Validate end-to-end business processes spanning Salesforce and upstream or downstream systems, confirming consistent transactions, statuses, calculations, and workflow outcomes across platforms.
  • Verify synchronous and asynchronous integration behavior, including orchestration, transformations, dependencies, retries, timeouts, duplicate handling, and failure recovery.
  • Review API requirements and acceptance criteria with engineers to ensure integration behavior is clear, complete, measurable, and testable before development begins.
  • Validate REST and other applicable service interfaces, including requests, responses, authentication behavior, status codes, schemas, field mappings, business rules, and error messages.
  • Use OpenAPI specifications and interactive documentation created in Swagger, Scalar, or similar tools to validate that implemented interfaces conform to agreed integration contracts.
  • Assess API-led integration flows across MuleSoft layers and connected applications, documenting gaps between expected and actual behavior.
  • Test Salesforce solutions involving Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, Apex, Lightning Web Components, platform configuration, workflows, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Validate data mappings, transformations, migration results, referential integrity, required fields, duplicate prevention, and reconciliation between Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Create reusable test data and scenarios representing realistic business conditions while following applicable data-handling and access-control requirements.
  • Confirm that role-based access, permissions, and integration-user behavior support approved business requirements without exposing unintended functionality or data.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, prioritize, and track defects with technical evidence, including steps, payloads, logs, expected results, actual results, and impacted systems.
  • Work with engineering and other technical team members to isolate issues across Salesforce, MuleSoft, APIs, data transformations, and connected applications.
  • Retest corrections, execute targeted regression testing, and communicate residual risk or unresolved dependencies before release decisions.
  • Analyze recurring defects and escaped issues to recommend improvements to requirements, design reviews, automated tests, monitoring, and release controls.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for high-value regression scenarios using appropriate Salesforce, API, and integration testing tools.
  • Support automated quality checks in source-control and continuous integration and continuous delivery processes, and review results to identify failures or release risk.
  • Collaborate in Agile delivery cycles by refining user stories, clarifying acceptance criteria, estimating testing effort, and providing timely quality status.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, defects, and release outcomes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing for cross-system business processes, including participant readiness, scenario design, test data, issue triage, and final results.
  • Collect and document stakeholder feedback, confirm that business requirements are met, and distinguish defects from enhancement requests or training needs.
  • Prepare release-quality summaries covering test execution, defect status, integration dependencies, known limitations, and recommended disposition.
  • Conduct post-release validation and production smoke testing to confirm successful deployment and stable end-to-end operation.
  • Maintain clear test evidence, integration-quality standards, reusable test assets, environment notes, and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Monitor relevant Salesforce and MuleSoft platform releases and evolving testing practices to anticipate regression risk and update test coverage.
  • Communicate technical findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, escalating quality, dependency, or production-readiness concerns promptly.
  • Develop working knowledge of Mastercam critical business processes and enterprise systems connected through the integration landscape.
  • Support the integration of an acquired company into Mastercam according to Sandvik and Mastercam programs and processes, with a focus on compliance and financial controls.
  • Take on broader business-area responsibilities over time under the common Sandvik compliance program and for the local hub and other local businesses.

Sandvik partners with Rio Tinto to integrate autonomous drilling systems across Australian mines

Sandvik has partnered with Rio Tinto to integrate its i-series surface drill rigs with Rio Tinto's Autonomous Drilling System. The collaboration will combine Sandvik's AutoMine automation technology with Rio Tinto's remote operations expertise to improve safety, productivity and system interoperability in open-pit mining. Development will be managed through Rio Tinto's Perth Operations Centre, beginning with testing at Sandvik's facility in Finland. Field trials will follow at Rio Tinto's Western Australian operations to evaluate performance against production targets. The project leverages existing autonomous infrastructure at Rio Tinto's iron ore sites and aligns with both companies' expansion plans, including Sandvik's recent copper mine equipment orders and Rio Tinto's $1.5 billion Quebec smelter expansion, due to complete by end-2026.
