- A diploma in water treatment, such as a DEP, AEC, DEC, BTS, or BTSA in water treatment.
- Valid professional qualification certificates for drinking water and wastewater.
- A valid driver's licence.
- Monitor and control treatment processes.
- Inspect the facilities and installations.
- Collect samples and perform laboratory analyses.
- Interpret results and adjust the process as needed.
- Prepare regulatory reports.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Cover on-call periods and intervene as needed in the event of equipment abnormalities.
