Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
  • Experience supporting the deployment or implementation of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager infrastructure, including new environment builds.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted or hybrid Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager environments, preferably within Microsoft Azure or Azure Government.
  • Experience with software packaging, software deployment, and operating system deployment.
  • Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server Update Services and Windows patch management processes.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or System Center Configuration Manager in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager infrastructure and associated site systems.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager environments, including cloud-hosted and hybrid deployments.
  • Assist with the implementation and support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager components, including Management Points, Distribution Points, Software Update Points, and Cloud Management Gateway.
  • Deploy and manage operating system deployment task sequences and endpoint imaging solutions.
  • Package, test, and deploy applications using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Manage monthly patching activities and software updates through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Windows Server Update Services.
  • Monitor Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager health, troubleshoot client and server issues, and resolve deployment failures.
  • Support endpoint inventory, compliance reporting, and asset management activities.
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration tasks.
  • Assist with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager integration efforts involving Microsoft Intune and co-management solutions.
  • Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in accordance with federal policies and standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Provide Tier II/III support for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager-related incidents and service requests.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Government agencies.
  • Experience with Cloud Management Gateway.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Azure Government, or cloud infrastructure services.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and federal security requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and certificate-based authentication.
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
