Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in PR and earned media; agency experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong decision-making and project management skills; deadline and detail oriented.
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving media landscape.
  • Experience working with integrated teams and on integrated campaigns.
  • Social media and influencer marketing literacy.
  • Some experience with reputation/issues/crisis management.
Responsibilities
  • Providing proactive and reactive strategic media counsel to key clients.
  • Seamlessly convert communications strategies to relevant, timely and engaging story narratives.
  • Develop and execute earned media strategies while connecting with teams to develop integrated approaches.
  • Craft compelling stories designed to earn positive client headlines and coverage.
  • Forge strong connections with key media contacts to leverage on behalf of clients.
  • Actively monitor for and be an early adopter of new media trends, platforms, and practices that could serve clients across our portfolio.
  • Work with paid media and affiliate teams to amplify content.
  • Identify news cycles, cultural shifts, industry trends and issues that affect clients, distilling meaningful insights and inserting clients’ narratives in targeted, relevant and insightful ways.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and pitches with creative media ideas.
