- Formally mentor younger engineers on technical matters as well as RoviSys culture and work ethic
- Process expertise to develop control strategies and functional specifications
- Choose components and generate bill of materials
- Work with Electrical Designers to develop project drawings
- Assist with installations and commissioning as required
- Working with equipment and instruments for automation and power management systems
- Troubleshoot issues as needed
- Develop Life Cycle documents, Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standards
- Redline P&ID documentation
- Define and implement Siemens PCS 7 or S7 configurations
- Testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems
- Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution
- Provide technical sales support to RoviSys business development team
- Manage a large project or several concurrent small to medium projects for projects executed in multiple RoviSys offices and customer locations
- Electrical design fundamentals
- Experience with Microsoft Windows
- HMI/SCADA Software: WinCC, TIA Portal, Simatic Manager
- Process Control Fundamentals
- Understanding of batch or continuous process control, combustion control
- Awareness of process safety, validation, and good documentation practices
- Network design/administration
- Knowledge of electrical design drawings and hardware
