Responsibilities
  • Drive total store sales and understand how departments and team contributions impact total store profitability.
  • Model guest service standards and lead the team to deliver a fresh, full, and food-safe area during all operating hours.
  • Drive a culture centered in food safety; train, validate, and coach the team to execute food safety standards and cleaning routines.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on store sales goals.
  • Lead an efficient operation that funds the sales culture.
  • Develop a strategy and use workload planning tools to manage scheduled workload and keep the store guest-ready.
  • Own the scheduling plan in partnership with Team Leaders based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.
  • Manage Food and Beverage backroom and sales floor areas; assess priorities and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow-up.
  • Oversee Food and Beverage Team Leaders' workload planning, including transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling, and promotions.
  • Build relationships with direct-to-store vendors and oversee Team Leaders' management of vendor performance.
  • Validate, audit, and maintain food in-stocks and follow up on Team Leaders' execution of the business plan and assignment-sheet process.
  • Assess competition and leverage guest insights and feedback to drive the business and become the destination of choice for guests.
  • Work a schedule aligned with guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
  • Manage the team to uphold and maintain Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards where applicable.
  • Foster a productive relationship with the Starbucks District Manager and follow up on key takeaways from store visits.
  • Plan, lead, and follow up on organizational and operational change.
  • Anticipate and identify changes in unique store trends.
  • Develop, coach, and train the team; anticipate staffing needs, create talent plans, and recruit for both long- and short-term needs.
  • Develop and coach the team to elevate its skills and expertise.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
  • Become a subject matter expert in federal, state, and local adult beverage laws as they apply to the business and protect the store's liquor license where applicable.
  • Provide service and a shopping experience that meets guest needs.
  • Demonstrate and lead a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, and hold others accountable.
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Address store needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
