Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of broadband infrastructure projects funded by federal grants.
  • Assess project implementation against grant specifications, plans, and technical requirements.
  • Verify the quality of installations, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with project timelines.
  • Review technical documentation, including project plans, engineering diagrams, and system configurations.
  • Evaluate the performance and functionality of installed broadband equipment and infrastructure.
  • Identify and document any discrepancies or issues in project execution.
  • Prepare detailed reports on field verification findings, including assessments, observations, and recommendations.
  • Document any deviations from project plans and suggest corrective actions or improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, evaluations, and communications with subrecipients.
  • Work closely with grant subrecipients, project managers, and technical teams to address issues and ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to subrecipients to help resolve challenges and improve project outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to update stakeholders on project status and verification results.
  • Ensure that all field verification activities comply with state regulations, grant requirements, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and assess the adherence to quality assurance protocols in project execution.
  • Recommend best practices and improvements to enhance project delivery and performance.
