Requirements
- University or college undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
- Demonstrated 7+ years' of HR experience supporting leaders and team members at rapidly scaling organizations through challenging change management
- Strong comprehensive understanding of core HR competencies, such as compensation, benefits, payroll, labor law, organizational development, talent development and training, mentoring/coaching/facilitation, recruitment and workforce planning, as well as a broad understanding of HR policies and programs, and other employment conditions, along with familiarity with HR best practices
- Experience with HR systems including Workday a plus
- Have exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
- Deep employment law knowledge and experience partnering with employment legal teams
- Excellent problem solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound data-driven decisions
- Efficient management of multiple priorities simultaneously and ability to focus on action and results
- Excellent organizational skills and priority management
- Ability to build and apply business acumen in development of people strategies
- Capacity to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization, including influencing the overall People team priorities
- Effective influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills; particularly with the executive leadership
- Comfortable giving and receiving direct, continuous feedback

Responsibilities
- Set vision, goals and expectations to accelerate the team through rapid growth
- Act as trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing expert guidance on org health, including reorganizations, talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, complex change management, compensation and performance management
- Partner closely with HR centers of excellence including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, HR operations, analytics, learning & development, and inclusion & diversity
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our business, how leaders and their team's operate and apply that knowledge to all aspects of people-related strategy, programs, and practices; lead with the business
- Partner with senior leadership teams to drive analysis, insights, and improvement in key people metrics
- Provide deep expertise in development of programs and policies that meet Canada and Quebec employment requirements
- Partner closely with HR Operations on continuous improvement to streamline processes
- Orient team members towards the right resources and provide timely responses to inquiries
- Drive a culture of data driven decision making, robust documentation, and strong adherence to our culture and values
- Design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, talent development and team building based on data insights
- Elevate the team by striking a balance between critical feedback and positive affirmation
