Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Finance and/or healthcare claims analyses
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Concentration in Finance, Business, Statistics or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server to analyze data
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
  • Translates complex data into information and assists users in its interpretation to support decision making.
  • Collaborates with other business areas to gather policy and program information.
  • Provides consultation on the design, testing, and enhancement of reports including technical assistance support to internal customers.
  • Develops and maintains Medicaid financial reports using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Scope of reporting and analysis responsibilities include but not limited to: Member Benefit Ratio, Financial Restatement, Revenue Reconciliation, Enrollment Reconciliation, Member Redetermination, State required Cost Reporting and Valued Based Services (VBS).
  • Critically reviews existing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency. Uses knowledge of data to ensure reports are in line with business policies and requirements.
  • Works independently to test and research data to ensure reports are complete and accurate.
  • Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals.
