Requirements
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • A bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited college in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics; ABET accreditation is preferred.
  • A good understanding of networking, including IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking device configuration, and network status monitoring.
  • A broad understanding of Simple Network Management Protocol version 3 (SNMPv3).
  • Ability to work directly with Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
  • At least 10 years of combined Government or Department of Defense experience performing the listed essential duties.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Ability to work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results.
  • Ability to analyze information and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to manage time wisely and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to interact with diverse customers and staff professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 25 pounds and performing the listed standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, and related activities.
  • Regular and punctual attendance during the stated Monday-Friday work schedule, with occasional additional hours.
Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and validate network application development and updates or patches for the Network Application Team.
  • Review and understand systems engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and provide guidance to the development team.
  • Support development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and verify their completion.
  • Work with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network.
  • Work with Program Management to set priorities for team capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.
  • Provide technical briefings, demonstrations, and advice to leadership.
  • Report status, recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the Integrated Fires Mission Command mission.
  • Provide customer service and deliver clear feedback in discussions and written documents.
  • Perform work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Linux experience.
  • Agilist certification.
