Overview of Opportunity 

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Systems Vulnerability Analystto support our growing team in San Antonio, Texas. The team is composed of intellectual individuals, passionate about cybersecurity research. The team is looking for someone with a vulnerability analysis background who understands how to identify and determine attack paths on a given system to develop effective mitigation and detection mechanisms. The team wants to talk to you if you are actively performing vulnerability research or vulnerability analysis to secure networks from attacks.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Identify vulnerabilities of and attacks to various physical, chemical, and electromagnetic characteristics and properties of signals, equipment, and security mechanisms.
• Characterize those attacks with respect to resources and capabilities required to accomplish those attacks and relate those vulnerabilities and attacks to their effects on the operations and missions supported by those systems.
• Compare and contrast signals and equipment attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures.
• Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against the technologies being studied.

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Active US Security clearance of Top Secret/SCI with Poly 
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security)
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following: vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and/or computer forensics. 
• Proficiency in developing network and endpoint-based detection rules for both zero and n-day vulnerabilities in a technical system

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performing protocol analysis and network detection development for a large corporate network
• Hands on experience developing analytics and detection logic for Department of Defense agencies
• A history of performing fuzzing or exploit development against computer applications or hardware systems
• Experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and/or system administration. 

Clearance Requirements:

• Active US Security clearance of Top Secret/SCI with Poly 
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Polygraph clearance
