Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma is preferred.
  • ACI or Canadian equivalent certification is required within six months of hire.
  • Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance is preferred.
  • A developing understanding of construction quality standards and processes is required.
  • Strong organization and communication skills are required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing, and documentation is required.
Responsibilities
  • Identify risks and discrepancies at the project site during daily site walks, documenting findings, evaluations, and inspections using company-prescribed procedures and software.
  • Assist with protocols, qualifications, and prescribed validation procedures and documentation.
  • Perform system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications.
  • Document, analyze, and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Support impact assessments to identify, assess, and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, following the direction of the environmental team and procedures.
