Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Crossroads updated 2026 blogs on June 15 and April 23, signaling ongoing marketing.
  • Management committed in September 2024 to grow Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Philadelphia, and Memphis.
  • The 2024 divestiture likely freed capital for higher-density markets and tighter operations.

What critics are saying

  • Agape Care Group bought Crossroads locations in four states on September 13, 2024.
  • Further state sales would shrink referral density, bargaining power, and administrative scale.
  • CMS hospice payment cuts or survey sanctions would hit a labor-heavy model immediately.

What makes Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care unique

  • Crossroads still operates Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee after the September 2024 divestiture.
  • Its 2026 blog shows active local brand-building through staff spotlights and patient-care stories.
  • Crossroads retains a dedicated hospice-only identity versus broader home-health platforms.
