- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each patient and contribute to the operation of the entire hospital.
- Administer medication and manage and monitor patients during surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care and anesthesia recovery.
- Facilitate patient care for outpatient surgeon appointments, including consultations and rechecks.
- Perform intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections; intravenous catheter placements; arterial catheter placements; epidural administration; and splint placements.
- Perform radiographs and other advanced imaging.
- Assist with surgeries, anesthesia, and other procedures as needed.
- Set up and turn over operating rooms, prepare examination rooms and instruments, and complete daily safety and cleaning duties.
- Communicate with clients, including providing financial estimates and collecting payment.
- Interface with and assist other hospital departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
