We are seeking a dynamic individual who also possesses the entrepreneurial spirit to join our Senior Management Team.
The Director of Human Resources, Canada is an important role responsible for the guidance and management of the overall provision of human resources services, policies, and programs for the company. This includes finalizing and implementing our ESG Policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The ideal candidate will enhance the experience of our platform users through nurturing a multifaceted ecosystem. This is a senior leadership role in a company becoming known as a disruptor and an exciting time to help support national and international expansion.
Primary Responsibilities:
• ESG and SDGs – we are here to make a difference.
• Optimize recruiting and staffing processes to maintain our great culture.
• Oversight of our HR Tech stack and Shared Services implementation.
• Implement scalable orientation, development, and training services.
• Risk management including policy development and documentation.
• Oversight of our OH&S Program.
• Employee and community communication.
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health (compensation and benefits).
• Employee services and counselling.
Skills & Technical Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
• Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs.
• Evidence of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.
Qualifications/Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, safety, and labour relations.
• Active affiliation with human resources networks.
Additional skills/knowledge that are an asset:
• Experience in transportation and logistics industry.
• B2B SaaS background is an asset.
• Strong business acumen and experience working in a start-up business environment.
