Programming Internship (Year in Industry - 2024 to 2025)

We are actively looking for Programming Interns to take up the challenge and join our award-winning team for 2024/2025.

We are offering the successful candidates the opportunity of a 12-month placement (minimum period) at d3t or Coconut Lizard working on one of our many exciting projects and giving valuable industry experience.

d3t and Coconut Lizard are at the cutting edge of technology and creativity, delivering co-development video game services to our global triple-A clients. Our successful studios are part of the Keywords Studios Group and we are continuing to grow - working on multiple exciting projects at any one time and offering plenty of variety and involvement for our Programming Interns.

Our studios are based near Daresbury (Cheshire) and Newcastle (Tyne and Wear), you have the choice of which to work at. The studios offer an amazingly professional, fun and supportive working environment. Projects we have worked on include: Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC24, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Alan Wake Remastered, Sea of Thieves, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Assetto Corsa Competizione, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and many more.

YOUR MISSION OBJECTIVES

As a programming intern at d3t, you can expect the following:

·        Intro: work on an exciting game from day one.

·        Power Ups: learn from experienced programmers.

·        Teamwork: collaborating, planning, writing, reviewing, and testing code.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

·        Languages: C++ preferred

·        Techniques: Object-oriented development

·        Enthusiasm: Will take on any challenge

·        Growth: A desire to learn and improve

·        Teamwork: Enjoy working as part of a team

·        Communication: Excellent
