Automation Test Lead

What does an exceptional Test Automation Lead do?

We’re looking for a Test Automation Leader to join our software development organization. Seeking a Leader to manage test tool landscape, collaborate with developers to implement test requirements, lead SDETs and define the target automation test architecture. You will create a fully automated and into the development process integrated automation test suite. You will establish high quality gates for a fully automated CI/CD pipeline with the goal to deploy code directly to production.

This role requires advanced technical skillset in depth and an ability to effectively communicate across both application development test teams. The ideal candidate possesses a good blend of business and technical aptitude, is heavily hands on and has a strong need to learn new things as well as research customer insights, trends and business challenges.

As an Automation Test Lead, you can look forward to:

• Collaborating on design and development of micro services on a cloud platform.
• Establishing software test design approaches, standards and overseeing product adherence of best practices.
• Bringing awareness to micro services-based architecture, promoting modern and mature practices.
• Partnering with scrum teams to ensure a high-quality test automation pipeline while driving improvements through CI/CD processes.
• Configuring and documenting the test automation landscape.
• Accessing risks based on product complexity, resource and/or timeline constraints.
• Mentoring technical staff during projects to ensure continuous improvement.
• Providing inspiration and guidance to the growing team; foster a culture of transparency, collaboration and innovation.
• Establishing department standards and procedures, recommending efficient ways to ensure the best implementation practices of new or upgraded products.
• Display strong verbal and written communication, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of software development experience.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in test automation
• Strong Experience in test automation tools like Postman, Selenium
• Strong Experience in performance, load and stress testing
• Strong experience in test data management
• Experience in test automation using Java: Rest Assured, Selenium API, etc.
• Experience in ADA testing
• Experience in UI as well as API testing
• Experience in integrating test automation into the CI/CD pipeline

Preferred Qualifications for consideration:

• Azure Cloud knowledge
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Experience in mobile App testing
