Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an investor relations role at a public company and/or a research associate or analyst role at a sell-side equity research/buy-side investment firm or investment bank
- A strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skill set; working knowledge of stock surveillance and market data tools like Bloomberg and Factset a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail and an ability to effectively multi-task
- A professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive, non-public company information is critical
Responsibilities
- Work within IR to build and execute a best-in-class investor relations program
- Collaborate on key messaging, communications, and media strategy; ability to create robust content which conveys the company's strategic vision in a consistent, concise and clear manner
- Develop and execute critical materials for the quarterly earnings release process (e.g. press release, presentation, call Q&A prep) and other financial press releases, as well as senior management and Board presentations throughout the year
- Create and maintain financial models and other data-intensive projects for ad-hoc requests from senior management
- Monitor sell-side research analyst coverage of and earnings estimates for SoFi, as well as that of the peer group and broader FinTech industry; consistently track Consensus estimates
- Perform competitive analysis and gather research to facilitate management and investor decision-making
- Interact with other internal groups (Finance, Legal and Compliance, Business Units) to create presentations for management (internal and external)
- Maintain accuracy of external Investor Relations website content and adding necessary information to SoFi public site
- Assist with handling investor phone and email inquiries
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field
- IR experience and fundamental knowledge of the earnings release and SEC disclosure processes preferred but not required
