Requirements
  • London-based hybrid work arrangement (location: hybrid London-based, with flexibility for in-person meetings)

  • Proven track record in senior-level recruitment, particularly within the public or not-for-profit sectors
  • Strong understanding and experience of public appointments processes and governance
  • Experience working with or within government departments or arms-length bodies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior board-level and public appointment roles.
  • Design and manage fair, transparent, and inclusive recruitment processes in line with public appointments governance.
  • Draft role briefs, candidate packs, and communications in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage search partners and executive search firms.
  • Design and facilitate interview and assessment processes, including competency frameworks and scoring matrices.
  • Provide secretariat support to selection panels, including minute-taking and drafting of panel recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant public sector recruitment policies and diversity targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including board members and departmental sponsors.
