The Position

The web designer intern will help to review and revamp our current intranet main pages and People Services & Culture pages. This position will provide experience with the creation of content, placement, and overall aesthetics. They will work with the IS and People Services & Culture team to gather the main components required for the sites and design pages that are user friendly and easy to navigate. In addition, they will work closely with a Principal Collaboration Architect and Sr Microsoft D365 Developer.

The 2024 Internship Program lasts from June 10 - August 16.

Responsibilities

Learn the current design framework of our main intranet page and other department pages and recommend design improvements
Focus on developing main intranet and People Services pages that can serve as templates for other department pages
Assist People Services & Culture to create Employee Recognition page
Assist People Services & Culture to create interactive experiences

Requirements:

Working on a bachelor’s degree in web design or related field
Understand SharePoint and its structure
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and PowerShell preferred
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with web and mobile design
Understanding of UX principles

Preferred:

Sophomore studying web design or a related field

The hourly pay rate for this role is $22 per hour.
