• Asses third party and cloud native monitoring tool and provides guidance on what tools are most beneficial
• Designs, develops, and implements a consolidated service to project utilization view across all cloud environments
• Utilize cloud native API’s, third party, and custom tooling to alert on various metrics to include service degradation, service outages, and latency
• Develop middleware integrations with enterprise performance monitoring capabilities to provide a unified monitoring dashboard for all cloud environments
• Integrate with third party metadata services to contextualize performance telemetry
• Evaluate and improve automations to meet and maintain STE/STN compliance
• Evaluate infrastructure architecture to design and implement various metrics applicable to commercial cloud capabilities
• Evaluate services being utilized on a continuous basis to assess and make recommendations to gain cost and performance efficiencies and adhere to best practices
- Shall have a minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline.
- TS/SCI with Poly required for consideration
- Execute full lifecycle software and application development.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system, NiFi experience is preferable.
- Scripting and automation focused on containerization and Kubernetes.
- Maintain and upgrade software and application after deployment
- Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics.
- Integrate CASPORT, GATEKEEPER, and other NSA specific security controls into product.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Oracle RDS experience is preferable
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert.
- An understanding of policies and roles in IAM is also critical.
