Our next Post-Harvest Lead will be responsible for all Post-Harvest related responsibilities. As a leader in the department, they will also be responsible for training new team members, assisting with documenting and creating SOPs, and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
To Be Blunt
You will be challenged to work tactically to ensure complete and on time execution of production schedules.
One minute you will be accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records
The next minute ensuring the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace
And the next minute working with daily Post Harvest department tasks (i.e. trimming ,packaging)
Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work within a diverse team in the organization
Where you’ll be planted
This position will be on-site in our Hagerstown, MD Facility daily.
To be blunt, this role will be about:
- Adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals.
- Verify that all applicable working areas, tools, and processing equipment are maintained and in good working order prior to the start of each shift or batch.
- Clean and sanitize glassware, transfer materials, storage vessels, tools and working surfaces.
- Produce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory, and state mandated seed to sale documentation.
- Accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records.
- Ensure all fresh frozen processes are performed with attention to strict quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and all other applicable legal and food safety requirements.
- In addition to helping on the floor, leads are responsible for assisting in the management of their team members throughout their shift, preparing and closing the room at the beginning and end of the day, returning finished and in process work to the secure and keeping equipment in good working condition.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Other duties in Post-Harvest department or other departments as required.

- Experience in Metric/Cannabis Seed-to-sale
- Ability to pass a state and Federal background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and or walking for extended periods of time.
