Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the development staff and unit liaisons to maximize fund raising efforts and success
  • Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, through excellent informal and formal communications
  • Prepare, provide, and review various reports for major gift officers and the senior director of development; support donor tracking and participation and ensure up-to-date database record management
  • Provide assistance in the development of prospect strategies; review monthly pledge reminders
  • Support annual fund-raising goals and functions; assist with annual planning and overseeing goal setting, tracking, and updating the solicitation process; coordinate gift agreements between the university and the donor
  • Create and prepare data and reports, including fundraising progress reports
  • Manage and submit all database list requests; manage coding in database to help identify proper alumni, donor, stewardship, event, engagement activity
  • Lead the process for donor naming opportunities
  • Respond to requests for information as needed
