Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, graphic arts, or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience as a 3D artist or related job
- Extensive experience with 3ds Max
- Understanding of modifiers and how to effectively leverage them
- Experience with rigged people and construction equipment
- Understanding of computing requirements for 3D modeling
- Experience using plugins for people and vegetation
- A portfolio reflecting 3D modeling, animation, and renderings
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Use 3ds Max to create, animate, and render 3D models of small power plants
- Understand and adjust rendering settings accordingly based on timelines and scale of the visual
- Create normal maps and leverage asset libraries & textures
- Utilize the principles and practices of photography (camera angles/lighting) and visual aesthetics and trends to relate them to renders
- Keep organized files and follow team protocols for file formats and direction
- Manage multiple tasks, priorities, and workloads to meet all schedules and deadlines
- Follow and work with image direction and objectives provided, such as sketches or verbal direction
- Other digital animation tasks as requested
