One Medical is a primary care solution challenging the industry status quo by making quality care more affordable, accessible and enjoyable. But this isn’t your average doctor’s office. We’re on a mission to transform healthcare, which means improving the experience for everyone involved - from patients and providers to employers and health networks. Our seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses and mental health concerns have been delighting people for the past fifteen years.
In February 2023 we marked a milestone when One Medical joined Amazon. Together, we look to deliver exceptional health care to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks to achieve better health outcomes. As we continue to grow and seek to impact more lives, we’re building a diverse, driven and empathetic team, while working hard to cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive.
About this role:
As we continue to expand our human-centered, technology-driven primary care to more members across the country, the teams that support this care are growing as well. We are now seeking to hire a Vice President, Head of Strategic Finance, to support our team’s continued growth and best-in-class processes that drive long-term partnerships with the business, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will hold a primary role within a team that is critical to ensuring continued successful growth through thought-leadership and collaboration across the business to provide strategic insights and in-depth analysis of business trends and opportunities, optimal financial management, and accurate financial reporting and forecasting. A key member of the finance leadership team, you and your team will strategically partner with stakeholders across the business to help create the vision, strategies, and priorities for both the finance team and the company overall.
A true player/coach, you’ll use your strong sense of accountability to drive results, following through on your commitments and making sure others do the same. Acting with a clear sense of ownership, you’ll take personal responsibility for decisions, actions, and failures. A passion for collaboration, you’ll work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You’re a good listener and an effective communicator who enthusiastically takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and high energy. You’ll identify the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement, team building, and efficient workflow. You will guide a highly motivated and skilled team to help them fulfill their potential both individually and as a team. If you are passionate about building strong and scalable processes, focus on continuous improvement, intellectually curious, and have a passion for leading teams that are transforming healthcare, we’d love to speak with you!
