Requirements
  • 5+ years of channel sales, partner referrals, technology alliances and/ or business development experience
  • Has developed and executed channel sales development and marketing programs which result in revenue generation for a B2B SaaS technology company
  • Has a track record of setting and achieving clear milestones with a pattern of holding partners, stakeholders, and themself accountable
  • Executes effectively: measures and monitors process, progress, and results
  • Can craft approaches that are perceived as positive and destined for success
  • Can comfortably build relationships, sell, and deal with senior leaders and executives
  • Knows how to build credibility with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Able to effectively negotiate contracts with partners
  • Is passionate about helping others succeed, especially in a channel sales-specific function
  • Is a fantastic public speaker who is comfortable delivering trainings, speaking engagements, and hosting events
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities
  • Recruit, develop and manage strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of accounts
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective partners from outreach through negotiations to signing
  • Evangelize company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships
  • Evaluate program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management
  • Works toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance
  • Provide for financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships
  • Monitor program to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance
  • Monitor competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactive sales enablement and technology enablement
  • Work closely with product teams to strategically deliver product training, assets, and marketing collateral
  • Be a liaison between partners and our Product Management and Engineering teams
