Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information design, graphic design and/or visual storytelling
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of data visualisation projects including infographics, long-form content, and marketing assets
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, with an emphasis on Figma
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, with familiarity in After Effects and Acrobat as a plus
  • Strong ability to interpret and visualise complex data sets with narrative clarity
  • Experience in basic UX design and wireframing (simple campaign sites and scrollytelling)
  • Experience designing for animation and developing assets for motion graphics
  • Confident in setting or advising on visual direction for varied content formats
  • Demonstrated ability to design adaptable, brand-consistent visuals for diverse platforms
  • High attention to detail in layout, typography, and visual alignment
  • Ability to work across multiple brand styles and tone of voices
  • Experience managing client relationships and working independently on project delivery
  • Background in B2B, tech, or professional services sectors is highly desirable
  • Comfortable collaborating with developers on interactive visual projects
  • Knowledge of Wagtail as well as other used platforms for scrollytelling and reporting such as Shorthand or Turtl a bonus
Responsibilities
  • Translate complex research findings and strategic insights into visually engaging formats
  • Design visually compelling content for both digital and print, including infographics, illustrations, reports, ebooks, and campaign materials
  • Develop creative concepts and visual treatments based on client briefs and brand guidelines
  • Create assets for interactive content and animated explainers, including storyboards and icon sets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, developers and editors, to ensure cohesive visual storytelling
  • Build and manage a library of modular design templates and reusable assets
  • Present design ideas confidently to internal stakeholders and clients, adapting based on feedback
  • Manage time and project streams independently, while seeking continuous improvement and innovation in design approaches
