  • Two years of college or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Must possess and maintain Property and Casualty in all states where Horace Mann conducts business for property and casualty lines of business
  • Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
  • 2+ years of insurance related sales experience
Responsibilities
  • Service and provide quotes on non-Horace Mann Products
  • Work with Third Party Vendors to get quotes/application processed
  • Bind sales
  • Understand, educate, and implement new programs to positively affect new sales and customer retention
  • Tracking and reporting, quality review, securing approval, payments, and signatures to bind policies is critical in the roles requiring licensing
  • Maintain daily contact volume to ensure production goals are met for the division
  • Utilize sales skills to ensure proper close rations and service levels are met
  • Sell products with the processes established by the HMGA (ie. Small commercial polies are presented directly to the client)
