Requirements
  • 5 plus years related experience and/or training within customer service.
  • High school or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience of managing and supervising in a related industry.
  • Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience leading and developing individuals and teams.
  • Working knowledge of bottom-line business management with the proven ability to make sound business decisions, discuss and resolve problems.
  • Working knowledge of computers and business related software.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English. Verbal Spanish skills are beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and evaluating all Inside Sales personnel as well as develop comprehensive succession plan for department.
  • Lead and manage the customer service team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer experiences.
  • Directly involved with the Inside Sales effort, and the input into customer pricing matrix to maximize the Gross Margin and/or increased sales.
  • Daily involvement with customer service team to insure on time delivery to meet company goals.
  • Work with management and purchasing to maintain correct inventory levels to meet key customer requirements and to assist in preventing dead inventory.
  • Sell industrial hose and gasket products, maintain customer accounts, take orders on the phone and over the internet as well as enter orders and product quotes into the computer system.
  • Emphasize salable features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules and inventory.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions in company database.
  • Work with account managers to keep account activities up to date.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.
