The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is accepting ongoing applications for a Tax Preparer!
Location: Richmond, VA Headquarters
Rate: Commensurate with experience + great benefits!
Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns and maintain knowledge of tax law.
Research and answer questions via e-mail and phone.
Evaluate accuracy of prepared tax returns by internal preparers or external CPA’s.
Assist with e-filing returns.
Maintain and archive tax files per IRS.
Prepare In-Plan Roth conversion estimates for field personnel during the fourth quarter of the year.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred in accounting, finance, or similar field
At least one year minimum of tax return preparation, required
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is required
Advanced skills MS Office Suite experience is a plus
