Accounting Analyst @ MaintainX

As an Accounting Analyst, you will help create scalable processes required to perform a timely period-end close and assist the finance team with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, a strong critical thinker and problem solver, and extremely organized. You are someone who works independently on a variety of activities and adapts to a fast-changing environment. In this role, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of the contract to cash cycle, including assisting with billing, accounts receivable aging, and collections, ensuring the accurate and timely process of receipts.
Assist in the implementation of billing and revenue recognition platforms in order to maximize the use of the platform and drive automation of the processes.
Develop and create period-end scalable processes relating to revenue, operating expenses, cash, accounts receivables, accounts payable, deferred revenue, and accruals.
Assist with other finance-related projects, such as assisting with taxes and financial planning, as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
2 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, or finance.
Strong analytical skill set capable of defining problems and developing innovative solutions utilizing appropriate methods and frameworks.
Proficiency with Excel.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

CPA
Experience with US GAAP.
Experience with Quickbooks, Stripe & Salesforce.
