Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Strong negotiation and contract negotiation skills with the proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
  • Broad knowledge of all Categories of spend areas within sourcing and procurement.
  • Ability to develop and implement long term strategies that align with organizational & business goals.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders and suppliers.
  • High degree of business acumen; demonstrated ability to understand financial and legal terms and implications.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with requisite interpersonal skills to partner.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to a Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain and Logistics Team to deliver strategic value in the form of savings (P&L and cost avoidance), efficient logistic operations, non-financial added-value, competitive and scaleable staff augmentation program and value-added supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement global sourcing and procurement strategies for +$6B of spend across all categories of spend company-wide including Technology, Marketing, Professional Services & Real Estate.
  • Interact and influence internal and external executive level management through demonstrated expertise and knowledge of details as well as have the business acumen and emotional intelligence to navigate the nuances.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all areas of spend, including Technology, Finance, and business units, to understand their business needs and requirements and ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business needs and objectives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of sourcing professionals by providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track the performance of sourcing initiatives.
  • Drive global compliance with purchasing and contracting policies through risk/value based approach to program.
