Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years experience in Copywriting
- Experience with short-form and long-form writing for Amazon, blogs, social media, branding, print materials, and packaging
- Experience with eCommerce or CPG marketing and copy, Amazon preferred
- Experience working with designers on a marketing or creative team
- Demonstrated ability to work and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments while managing workload and priorities
- Ability to take copy feedback and incorporate it quickly
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Provide copywriting needs for Amazon listings (photos, A+ content, brand stories, storefronts, etc.) and other marketplaces, as necessary
- Work closely with graphic designers, members of content production, and creative leads to execute consistent, high-quality brand creative across channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand managers, category marketing leads, and others to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Assist in the creation of branding guidelines for use by cross-functional teams and third-party agencies
- Collaborate with packaging designers on packaging copy updates for products sold on Amazon and in retail
- Develop marketing campaign concepts in partnership with graphic designers, executing final static assets for paid search, social, email, DTC, and Amazon
- Support copy direction for external agency support to ensure all creative is on-brand and delivers on the project brief
- Partner with legal stakeholders (marketing legal and compliance) to create content that is compelling and engaging, while managing risk
- Demonstrate skillful application of copywriting methods and industry best practices
