Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program that includes a co-op component.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
- Availability for a full-time co-op term of at least 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs.
- Write, test, and document clean, maintainable code in C# and JavaScript.
- Assist with database development and maintenance tasks (e.g., SQL queries, schema updates, and data integrity checks).
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of software applications.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team development discussions.
- Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and technical presentations.
- Research and recommend new technologies or tools to support process improvements.
- Gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
Desired Qualifications
- coursework, project, or prior internship experience with C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), or database management systems.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
