- A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership or management responsibilities, is required.
- Experience supporting the Department of State, Department of Defense, or other federal agencies is required.
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-53, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Federal Information Security Modernization Act, Zero Trust, and cloud security is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Government, Amazon Web Services GovCloud, VMware environments, and enterprise security tools is required.
- Current Security+ CE and Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification, or the ability to obtain them as required, is required.
- An active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Lead cybersecurity operations supporting cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure.
- Manage Risk Management Framework activities throughout the system lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones, security assessments, and authorization packages.
- Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-53, Federal Information Security Modernization Act, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides, and Department of State security policies.
- Direct vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, incident response, and threat mitigation efforts.
- Coordinate security audits, inspections, penetration testing, and security assessments.
- Manage cybersecurity personnel and provide technical leadership across engineering and operations teams.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, Information System Security Officers, Information System Security Managers, system administrators, and program management.
- Support Zero Trust implementation, cloud security architecture, and identity and access management initiatives.
- Develop cybersecurity metrics, executive reports, and risk briefings for leadership.
- Certified Information Security Manager certification.
- Certified Cloud Security Professional certification.
- Certified Authorization Professional certification.
- GIAC certifications, including GCIA, GCIH, and GCED.
- Microsoft or Amazon Web Services security certifications.
