As a Data Analyst / Junior Data Scientist you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for the business. You will be responsible for identifying relevant data sources, collecting and organizing data, building predictive models, and creating visualizations to support decision-making processes. Your work will directly impact our marketing strategies, product development, and overall business performance.
Data Collection and Management:
Identify relevant data sources to meet business needs.
Collect structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Source missing data and organize it into usable formats.
Enhance the data collection process for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Data Processing and Analysis:
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data.
Analyze data for trends and patterns to answer specific business questions.
Assess the quality of data and perform necessary cleaning.
Develop, implement, and maintain databases to support data analysis activities.
Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning:
Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast trends and inform business strategies.
Continuously improve and refine models to enhance accuracy and performance.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
Generate insights and information from data sets to identify trends and patterns.
Create visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to executive and project teams.
Prepare comprehensive reports to support business decisions.
Data Infrastructure and Tools:
Set up and maintain data infrastructure to support data collection and analysis.
Utilize reporting and data visualization tools such as Business Objects, PowerBi, and Tableau.
Work with ETL frameworks and tools
Use digital marketing analytics tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager etc…
Strong mathematical and numeracy skills.
Intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server, PosGreSQL, NoSQL DB i.e MongoDB
Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools like Business Objects, PowerBi, and Tableau.
Knowledge of website scripts such as XML, Javascript, and JSON.
Understanding of ETL frameworks and tools, including Alteryx and Microsoft SSIS.
Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools like Google 360, Google Analytics.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
